HousingWire is hiring a Digital Ad Operations Manager / Specialist. The right candidate will be highly motivated, very organized, and take initiative in their work. This person also thrives in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
The Ad Operations Manager / Specialist will be responsible for trafficking online advertising campaigns and monitoring campaign delivery from beginning to end. This role will collaborate with various key stakeholders (Sales, Editorial, Marketing, and Clients) to optimize progress of all revenue generating campaigns, and to make key strategic decisions ensuring that client needs are met.
Primary responsibilities include:
1. Accurately traffic and manage custom, premium interactive advertising campaigns across all ad-serving systems in a timely manner (Display, Mobile, Video, and Email)
2. Work closely with all relevant parties (sales, clients and tech partners) to ensure a timely campaign launch across all revenue generating opportunities
3. Communicate ad specs and creative lead times to advertisers/agencies and sales
4. Thoroughly QA all ads prior to launch and proactively troubleshoot any ad creative and tag issues that affect tracking, implementation, or reporting
5. Maintain ongoing liaisons with and provide technical support to troubleshoot problems with creatives and tags
6. Actively contribute to the development and prioritization of new product features and functionalities for an ever-evolving product line
7. Keep up-to-date with the latest in digital advertising and media industry trends
8. Strategize with team members to develop ways to improve order & inventory management processes, as well as yield management opportunities

Requirements:
1. BA/BS degree required
2. 1+ years of experience with DFP, as well as experience with other 3rd party ad serving systems
3. Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash
4. Strong analytical skills, with extensive knowledge of Excel
5. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
6. Comfortable juggling multiple tasks; ability to prioritize responsibilities; excellent time management
7. Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, thrives in an extremely fast-paced, deadline oriented environment
8. Eager to learn quickly and take on projects with a sense of urgency and accountability
