Academic Partnerships has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Email Optimization Manager working out of our downtown Dallas office. We are looking for a seasoned marketing professional who will play a critical role in email campaign set up, deployment, performance reporting, and optimization via a marketing automation platform. Serve as a key player in developing email deployment strategies and tactical execution based on sound best-practices and performance data to effectively and efficiently generate leads
Analyze email campaign performance and derive insights to advance recommendations for optimization and/or the creation of additional campaigns to support key findings
Manage and execute email marketing efforts leveraging the existing Marketing Automation Platform, SharePoint, Adobe Analytics and MSCRM.
Manage email marketing workflows including calendaring, HTML email code evaluation/troubleshooting, list management, and segmentation, pre-deployment QA/testing, etc.
Partner with Vertical Marketing, Creative, Campaign, Website Developers, Partner Support, Analytics, Digital Media teams to ensure campaigns target the right audiences with the right message at the right time to generate leads
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or quantitative fields such as economics, finance, statistics, or business
5+ years' experience in email marketing experience/knowledge preferred including the use of A/B and multivariate testing, leveraging Dynamic Content and Personalization, as well as Automation/Programs
5+ years’ experience creating and deploying email campaigns via ESPs (IBM WCA, Salesforce, Marketo, Pardot, etc.) a plus
5+ years HTML experience with HTML editor tools in the development of emails and landing pages
Knowledge of best practices for database and email marketing – email distribution, dynamic content, testing methodologies, deliverability, performance metrics, CAN-SPAM laws, list segmentation, and database hygiene
Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and work around tight deadlines in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail
