Job Summary: The User Experience Strategist owns UX/IA strategy and wireframing for agency clients and works with teams to develop best-in class customer experiences with consumers at the heart of every client strategy. Strategies must bring data analytics together with integrated marketing campaigns to deliver client business objectives. Business objectives must have a clear path to optimization to improve future performance.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Ability to design useful, usable, thoughtful, desirable and enjoyable user centered digital experiences across a diverse portfolio of Integer clients - balancing user needs with business goals and technical capabilities.

  • Help drive the growth and culture of a growing user experience team

  • Participate in strategic discovery and decisions about design and technology platforms.

  • Support in ensuring a project is scoped and set-up correctly before beginning work.

  • Think strategically in the understanding of users and their behavior

  • Support with user-centered design activities (such as CX workshops) from understanding the customer, to defining and designing the solution, through to prototyping and validating with end-users

  • Demonstrate how the use of user research impacted your designs

  • Work with key stakeholders to interpret and help them realize their ambitions.

  • Use a variety of quantitative and qualitative research and analysis techniques to continually improve digital UX

  • Work and collaborate with internal account, strategy and creative teams to develop best in class user experiences

  • Present and thoughtfully defend designs and recommendations with internal and client teams

  • Take lead and ownership of agency-wide UX strategy and documentation

  • Streamline reporting and analytics for programs and campaigns

  • Development of UX/IA/wireframes and user experience maps for campaigns or digital programs

  • Creation of digital user personas / pen portraits

  • Multivariate and A/B testing

  • Technical and functional requirements gathering

  • Lead / facilitate discovery sessions, framing and co-creation workshops

  • IA audits, sitemaps, user journeys and use case development

  • Usability testing (test scenarios, recruitment briefs, discussion guides, clickable prototypes)

  • Content audits and strategy

  • Develop lo-fi sketches / concepts and hi-fi wireframes to explain user or consumer experience

  • Support teams in managing data analytics and reporting programs by defining KPIs, connecting measurement of campaigns to visualization dashboards

  • Advise where needed on optimization of campaigns

  • Development of responsive and adaptive designs

  • Analytics data extraction and support with SEO strategy / best practice

  • KPI development and reporting, and development of on-going optimization programs

  • Development of UX specification documents 

  • Ability to think through complex CX/UX challenges to drive successful execution of programs that reach client objectives

  • Ability to present to senior clients and internal teams and sell a design strategy and its processes.

  • Works well with project management and creative teams to support integrated campaigns

  • Organized, self-directed and comfortable working on multiple projects with tight deadlines

  • Strong understanding of the digital landscape. Stays aware of the latest trends in digital marketing and consumer experience

  • Excellent collaborative skills that communicate, defend, and build consensus around consumer experience strategies

  • Understanding of the latest technologies and platforms to produce technically achievable solutions.

  • Demonstrate understanding of business drivers / project commercials (can deliver on time and on budget).

  • Experience using UX design and documentation tools including prototyping, persona creation, journey mapping, etc.

  • Proficient in mainly waterfall methodology but with some understanding of agile processes.

  • Working knowledge of common design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Omnigraffle, etc

  • Fluency in best practices for mobile and web-based information architecture and responsive design, as well as deep and broad knowledge of usability principles and techniques

  • Organized, self-directed and comfortable working on multiple projects with tight deadlines.

  • Strong understanding of the digital landscape. Stay aware of the latest trends but not dictated by them.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 2+ years working in the UX/CX space as a UX Strategist / UX Designer

  • Experience working in larger ad agencies

  • Development of end-to-end experience planning from website, social and digital marketing campaigns all the way to CRM, email and marketing automation

  • Experience with delivering marketing performance and analytics reporting

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Interface Design, Human Computer Interaction, Service Design, (Graphic) Design with emphasis on UX or equivalent qualification

  • Participates in agency events and training

  • Flexibility to work extra hours with little to no prior notice

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
